Join Bluefin Robotics! Be a member of dynamic, energetic software engineering team designing and developing state-of-the-art applications for autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). You will work on software encompassing the full life-cycle of AUV operations, from embedded vehicle control code to GUI-based tools for planning and monitoring. We will consider both junior and senior candidates.

Responsibilities include:

1) Designing, implementing and modifying next-generation AUV software

2) Being the lead software developer on projects requiring software expertise

3) Working with engineers from other departments including Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing and Operations Engineering on our AUV Systems

Qualifications:

1) Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or strong theoretical and practical computer experience

2) Excellent programming skills, particularly in C/C++

3) Ability and desire to work in an energetic, multi-disciplinary environment with top-notch engineer

4) One or more of the following would be a plus: Linux; Windows; hardware experience; EE and/or ME experience

5) No prior experience with AUVs required
