My father's company, which does aerial photography from aerostat balloons, is looking for a new IT consultant.
The most pressing need at the moment is someone to install and be responsible for periodic maintenance of a (preferably Linux) file server. The company deals with large quantities of very high resolution and correspondingly high file size images in varying states of post production, and need a rock solid file backup system. In addition to this the ideal candidate would also be able to maintain the general (windows based) network and solve routine IT problems for our relatively savvy team.
Applicants must be in the DC metro area and able to easily access our Falls Church offices which are conveniently situated along the metro's orange line.
